In 2023, we succeeded in finding drinking water at a depth of 320 meters. A deep well was drilled there. Now, hundreds of school and orphaned children have access to drinking water and no longer have to carry water from distant water holes on their heads after school.
We support underprivileged motivated children in attending a private school run by the Missionary Sisters, so they can have a better start to their future. In public schools, classes are often overcrowded with more than 100 students, making it difficult to achieve optimal learning success. In February 2022, we handed over the completed and fully furnished hospital ward in Kwadudu, Tanzania, to the government. There was celebration, singing, and dancing. This construction project was financially supported by the Autonomous Province of South Tyrol.
